; The popularity of the weekly ambulance meetings at the ' Missions to Seamen _ was sliowil last night, when tho large institute was comfortably filled. Several instructive liiiits in connection with first aid and health matters were given by Mr. Mooro, tho' missioner. Competitions relating to ambulance work- were won by sailors from ships in port. An eiijoyablo programme of music was provided by Mrs. Stevens, who was assisted by the following:—Miss Ellison, Messrs. Evans, Porter, and Ellison. Mrs. Stevens presided at the piano. A club-swinging exhibition was given by Master Rountree.
