BOYS' CRICKET LEAGUE.

ANNUAL REPORT. Tlie annual report of tho Wellington Boys' Cricket League shows that tlio ieagiie, _ although in its sccond year, is prbgressjng. Tho balance-shcet is on the right side. Keen interest is taken in the various matches by the boys. Last year 17 teams took part in the competition, but this year it is expected that more clubs will enter. Entries closo on October 13. There are also two grades: Senior, for boys of 18 years and under; and junior, for boys of 16 years and , under. Two cups will be competed for, Y.M.C.A. teams being the present holders. The officers for the coming season are:— President,' Dr. Izard; vice-presidents, Messrs. Coloneus, H. N. Holmes, Adair, Fathers, and C. Gndber, jun.; hon. secretary, F. M'Clusky; treasurer, Mr. C. Dick; committee, Messrs. . Matheson, Richards, Galviri, and -de Castro.- : . It is expccted that matches will start on October 17.
