HEREFORD CATTLE BREEDERS ASSOCIATION.
ANNUAL MEETING AT FEILDING:
The annual meeting of the New Zealand Heroford Cattle Breeders' Association was held at Teilding yesterday (says . a Press Association message). Mr. D. P. Buchanan, president, was in the chair. Tho an-; nual report stated that thore was a credit balance of £471, and it was decided to offer for competition at tho Manawatu and West Coast Show Associations' Show in 1910 a handsome trophy for the'i best pure-brod Hereforji bullock calved since, Juno 30, 1908. It was further agreed that a similar trophy bo offered in 1911, for the best pure-bred Hereford shop bullock, and anothor trophy in 1912 .for the heaviest pure-bred Hereford bullock live weight. The following officers were elected President, Mr. J. Sl'Gregor (Masterton); vice-president, Mr. F.W. Arbon (Pohangina); and for the vacancies in tho council, Messrs. D. P. Buchanan, G. C. Wheeler, A. C. Morton.
