HOCKEY.
LADIES' ASSOCIATION. The final round of the Junior Cup will bo played to-morrow. The third-class match, Terrace A v. Ramblers, was to have been played on Septomber 12,, but, owing to insufficient notice, tho Rambler club could not got a team together. Thoy protested, and it was decidcd last evening to play the match to-morrow instead of allowing the default to Terrace A. Tho following are- tho fixtures for tomorrow:— Junior. • Victoria College A v. Hinemoa, oil Y:.M.C.A ground, at 2 p.m.; Girls' College vJ St. John's A, on Vivian ground, at 2 p.m. Third-Class. Terraco A v. Ramblers, oh Wellington ground, at 2 p.m.; St. John's v. Kia Ora, on Johnsonvillo ground, at Jobnsonville.. j COMMITTEE MEETING. • A mcoting of the Executivo 6ommittco of the Ladies' Association was held last evening, Dr. Izard presiding. A protest by the Wairarapa A representatives in the recent tournament against a match with Nelson was to havo beon dealt with, but it was pointed out that no formal appeal had been received, and the matter could not come up for decision.
