FEILDING.
For the course of lectures to bo given shortly ,in the Technical School, the arrangements aro well forward. Included among tho lecturers who havo been invited are Miss Kent, of the Levin State Farm, who will lecture on bees; Mr. Boucher, Government Pomologist, and Mr. Drysdale, manager of tho Levin State Farm. At Wednesday's meeting of the Wanganui Education Board the secretary was instructed to inform tho .Education Department that £27 had'been'collected towards the cost of tho new room at Kimbolton School, and the balance of the £50 would bo obtained in a few days. : A visjt was paid to Feilding on Thursday by tho Rev. W. E. and Mrs. Broinilow, returned missionaries from Papua. In the afternoon and evening they gave addresses. The Feilding farmers' guinea fund for tho Canterbury farmers' farm labour fighting fund has-now 30 subscribers.
