PALMERSTON RIFLES.' The Palmerston Rifles fired tho first competition for the "non-coms." shield on Saturday last, and some good scores were made. The present holder of tlio shield, Pte. Lucas, is again well lip. Tho following aro tho scores, the conditions being seven shots at 200 and 500 yards:—
