Tlio fall of rook in tlio Mount Morgan mino on Saturday evening, which killed seven miners, took placo in one of the largo copper ore chambors, a large mass coming clean away from the roof and side in tho shapo' of a slide/ 1 This part of the Mount Morgan mino was considered exceptionally safo. It is believed that constant blasting operations loosened tho earth and rock. Tho victims were working on contract.
