ARATAKI EXPERIMENT FARM.
Our Hastings correspondent writes:—MK Boucher, Government pomologist, lias arrived at Hastings in connection with planting some ten or twelve acres of the Arataki experiment station, in apples, pears, peaches, apricots, and plums. They are intended for experimental work to'be instituted as objectlessons for local growers. The planting will be commenced on Saturday or Monday.
