LOUIS BECKE. (by telegraph—press association—copyright.) Hobart, Septembor 4. Louis Becke, the novelist, is a passenger by the lonic. Ho is proceeding to the Solomon Islands in search of material for a new hovel. It was cabled from London jn May that Mr. Becke was going to tho Solomons with the support of the Koyal Geographical Society, with tho object of geographical and scientific research. '
