FIRE ON A STEAMER.
CAEGO DAMAGED. (ni TELEGRAPH—PKESS ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT.) Colombo, Septembor 3. A fire was discovered in the No. 3 hold of tho Nord-deutscher Lloyd steel twin-scrow steamer Boon, 8133 tons gross, from Sydney, while lying at Colombo. It was quickly extinguished, but not before it had damaged sheepskins, copra, and plumbago that wero among the cargo.
