EASTBOURNE ANGLICAN CHURCH 1, — As a Tcsnit of a canvass among tho Anglican community of Eastbourne a sum of about £300 lias been collected as the nucleus of a fund to provido for tho' building of a church on tho eastern side of tho harbour. A church sito was presented somo time ago, but this has been exchanged (with tho consent of tho donor) for another more central and convenient sito just off tho main Toad, undor which agreement a certain sum has to bo paid tho lato owner. Tho rosidents desiro to raiso a sum of about £600 beforo proceeding with tho erection of tho church, and an oflort is to bo mado to raise tbo money by means of a concert, to bo given in the Town Hall on Thursday next. Dr. Kington Fyffe, organist at St. Peter's, has'taken, the programmo in hand, and tho co-operaton of tho. Williugton Garrison Band has been secured. A good programme is assured.
