A Press Association messago stales that at the Blenheim egg-laying contest the eggs laid in tho past week numbered 2074. 'Xho grand total is 22,316. Tho highest layers for the week wereG. Silcook's Whito Leghorns 33, ..W. H. Ching's White Leghorns 32, T. B. Brooks's Whito Leghorns 32,"' Master Allen's Whito Leghorns 31. The highest layers to dato are:—A. R. Brown's whito Leghorns,. 582; Miss' Brown's Black Orpingtons, 560: D. A. Sturrock's Black Orpingtons, 514; Miss Mick Shaw's Whito 465; '• T. Edelston's White Leghorns, 465; W. A. Sowman's -\Vhito Leghorn^ The total eggs laid by tho pullets for tho week numbered 1220, and to dato 16,520; by the .hens for' tho week 854, and to dato 5793. ■
