. DEATH-ROLL 76. (BY TELEGRAPH —PRESS .ASSOCIATION —COPYRIGHT.I (Rec. August 21, 11.40 p.m.) ' . London, August 21. In connection with the disaster at No. 1 Maypole Colliery, Abram, near Wigan/ where an' explosion entombed a number of men and fired the mine, 28 bodies have now been recovered. The revised death-roll is 76. The pit has been flooded in order to ex. tinguish the fire.
