Ho hopes thereby to admit it without danger to Victorian stock. (Rec. Juno 25, 1 a.m.) Sydney, Juno 24. With regard to the difficulty with Capo Colony arising out of tho- importation of South African fodder, it is proposed that hay should bo cut into chaff and sterilised. About 100 toils of hay lying on tho'wharf will be admitted if tho agents agree to such a sterilising process. ' The prohibition of Capo fornge in Australia has caused protests in tho Capo Parliament and threats of retaliation.
