WELLINGTON EMPLOYERS' ASSOCIATION.
ANNUAL MEETING. Tho annual meeting of .the Wellington Employers' Association was held at tho 'As-, sociation's offices, AVoodward Street, last evening. Mr. H. Inniss, tho president, occupied tho chair, aiid thero was a good attendance. Tho annual report, already published, was read and adopted. The balaiico-sheet," which showed a credit balanco, was also adopted: Tho following officers were elected:—President, Mr. W. Hopkirk; vice-presidents, Messrs. W. H. Bennett and J. Eovcridgo; executive committee, Messrs. T. Balliiiffer, W. Cable, W. Campbell, J. Godbcr, A. A. Corrigan, W. J. Gaudin, H., Inniss, G. Linley, J. Nicol, W. J. Thompsqiii P. Wills. C. M. Banks, Hi Coulls, T. S. Young, and S. S. .Williams; auditor, Mr. W. C. Stephens! ■ ' ' Tho retiring officers received a vote ofthanks for past services. Mr. W. Pryor, secretary of tho Employers' Federation; gavo an interesting address on current labour topics. He emphasised the need for combined action/on tbo part of the employers in. regard to legislative and other matters concerning their interests.. Blr. Pryor was listened to vory attentively, and; at the conclusion of the . address, he was accorded a hearty vote of {.hanks.
