RECORD COAL CARGO. : According to the Sydney ."Morning Herald" the big tramp steamer Knight Errant, which left Sydney last iveek for Bombay; took away the largest quantity of coal ever carried m one bottom from an Australian port-ll,Bi>o tons. Of this amount 9SOO tons loaded at. Newcastle constitutes the cargo, Hie balance of '080 having been shipped at Sydney from the South Clifton colliery for bunker requirements. The previous record was established by the steamer Knight Templar, dispatched by the same firm in March last for Valparaiso with 8630 tons of coal as cargo, m addition 'to about 2000 tons for consumption on the round voyage. ■ NEW INTERSTATE STEAMER.
