PONG AROA,. COMPETITION. The Pongaroa Club fired in tho above competition on Monday, aud unfortunately the weather was about as bad as it could be, heavy rain falling the lyhole lime. Only eight men turned out to shoot. Tucker's (Wellington) Trophy was competed for' concurrently with the above. -A. I-lorbcrt won the medal for making a highest possiblo scoro, having scored eight bull's-eyes in succession at 500 yards.
