Queensland has had further good rains, and, excepting a small district south of Cunnamulla, is . provided, with feed enough to last another year. The east of New South Wales is similarly fortunate, the centre fair; but Rivorinaj in spite of somo showers, continues in very bad case, which is made worse 1 , by, tho .impossibility of getting sheep away owing to want of railway trucks. Northern Victoria has had fair rain's, but not enough.yet to make things safo for the winter, arid the State of Victoria generally may bo described as still anxious. South • Australia has had-more: good rains,, followed bv warm, weather, and Wost Australia is still expecting rain, but not in a bad way. Tasmama-complains of, drought,, but New Zealand is all right again. Meanwhile thowool' market seems to bo going i ; from bad to worse, and the meat- market is not over good." .' • ■' . '• . ... ~ .
