WISH MEN AT HALCOMBE.
In Halcombo (says - our Manawatu representative) active preparations have been going on for early crops, and already wheat crops are well advanced. As in most- districts, there is an. abundance of feed, and stock are looking well. Farmers who converted their , oat crops into chaff, and who held back for thp advance in tho market, move about with smiliriH countenances, and daily consignments of chaff leave the Halcombe station. iv; : '
