:/ LONDON WILL HELP. , At a meeting in London, on March 26, of the Court of Common Council (the London, •Corporation), a letter was read from the High Commissioner of''New Zealand asking the Court to assist his Government in making "its'system of meat inspection as thorough as "possible 'by affording' facilities for its veterinary officer to inspect all Newi Zealand meat in Smithfield-market. The request was granted, and accordingly Mr. C. J. Reakes, Assistant Chief Vetera-, Parian (now in England), and Mr. A. Crabb, the New Zealand London inspector, were deputed by the Now Zealand Government to. carry out ; the desired inspection.
