LEVIN.
A slight rain fell in this district last night-, but was hardly sufficient to do much good. A meeting of tho Barratt Fund was held on Monday ovening, tho Mayor (Mr. B. R. Gardener) being in tho chair. The lists to hand show that a total of £193 4s. 7d. has been collected. It is expected that when the other, outstanding lists como in, a sum of about; £250 will have been collected for tho fund.
