Tho University Senate spent' the morning in cbmmitte-o'work on Saturday.. .When, the Senate met at 10 a.m., the reports of tho Medical and Law- Committees worQ presented, and made orders of the day for to-day. The Senate then adjourned till 11.30. to.allow further progress to bo made with committee work. On resuming, the report of tho Scholarships. Committee v.*as presented, and made an order of tho'day for to-morrow. Tho Senate then adjourned again iiv order' that committees might hold their meetings. invitations were received for rcembers of the 'Senate to visit ftn f.rne'ns of tho Wei-, lington and Thorudon Bowling Clubs, and to arrange matches. - . 1 The Senato will resume at 10; a.m. to-day,
