MOTOR SHOW UPROAR.

Something very much in the nature, of a riot occurred at. the Automobilo.Salon in-the Grand Palais, Paris. The French' Automobile Club held a great charity festival in aid of tho'victims of tho.floods in tho Sonth of France. Numerous special attractions wore provided, and the price of admission was 'raised from one franc to 10 francs. •. In, order, apparently, to prevent holders .of free permanent admission tickets from trafficking- their cards for the day's festival, the management put up a notice at midday stating that after_ two. o'clock in tho afternoon all free admission cards would be'suspended for tho'rest of tho day. This' caused great oxcitomcnt. . Several manufacturers, who were exhibitors, went at once it) a body to the office of the managers of the. salon,. but found nobody: to rcceivo them, the committee'being at lunch. The .the management's, decision spread, and 500 exhibitors assembled under the clock and were shouting and yelling in indignation. At tho same timenearly every motor, horn, whistle aiid syren in tho show was being blown, and the noiso was. absolutely deafening. The exhibitors thon gavo orders to.their employees to cover over all their stands, and in n few minutes all tho principal exhibits wore shrouded beneath tarpaulin and canvas, and ovcry oxhibitar prepared to leavo tho building. Moreover, the loading .inhibitors decided that they would not illuminafe at nicht. In the midst of all the noiso and confusion somo of tho officials of the Automobile Club nrrivod in great haste, and rescinded tho order which had caused all the trouble. As soon as they had received satisfaction the. exhibitors uncovered their stands again and tho noiso ceased.
