SUDDEN DEATH.

Yesterday morning about 8 o'clock -Mr George B. Kerr, traveller for Tainc's Uiemical Stores, was found dead in his lied at the Coffee Palace, Balclutha. On the previous evening he arrived from the south and retired to bed early. Next morning Mrs Kerr, on going to awaken him, noticed something wrong, and fearing her .husband was in a faint, Dr ftrugh was instantly called in, but all efforts to restore animation were in vain. Death had probably occurred only a short while before, probably from heart disease. The sudden death is a very sad affair. Deceased had only been, married eight months ago to Miss Algie Kirby, and while a house was-being built at Cavershani Mrs Kerr spent most of her time with her parents at the Coffee Palace. Much sympathy is felt for the young widow and the relatives. Au inquest will be held at 11 o'clock this morning.
