At Wednesday's meeting,—i Ranger O'Neill reported on the application by Andrew Carruthers for a license to cut props over an area of about 10 acres north of Blackcleugh Creek, Rankleburn.—Granted ; royalty 8/- per 100 props .; time allowed, 12 months. Alexander Gray renewed his application for a temporary grazing license over section] 3, block XIII., Pomahaka Downs Estate.—Declined. Joseph Ahernethy renewed his application for a temporary grazing license over sections 16 and part 17, block XIV, Pomahaka Downs Estate. —Declined. Clutha County Council forwarded statements of proposed expenditure of "thirds" and "fourths" for" periods, January 4 1904, to March 31, 1901, and April 1,;1904, to June 25, 1904;--Approved. Ranger O'Neill forwarded a report on section 39, bldck X. Glenomaru district, formerly held by C. R. Eason. —To be reopened at a capital value of 10/- per acre/ burdened with improvements valued at £36 4/. William Allan applied for a right to occupy the -western part of village reserve, section 13, block XIII, Woodland district.—Referred to ranger for report, Margaret H. Milne applied for section 24, block Vlir. Catlins, rural land, o.r.p. tenure.—Granted.
