Thou light, though beautiful blue sky, Spangled with stars of mellow gold, Wheie ere we mortals turn our eyes, - We see Creations power unfold.
Who made the earth, who formed the sod, Who sent the nightly falling dew, A bounteous blessing from our God, .Beneath whose shadow all things grew.
" Who built the massy mountain top, '. " Who reared the towering Norway pino, ■" Who moored tho sea-girb ocoan. rock,. " Who but a being all dovino*
Who sent the rain, the gentle shower, Who raised the hurrican's fierce blow, Who speaks in mighty thunder's roar, In summer's heat, in winter's snow.
Come vain plilosophy of modern schools, Evolveabubble whose bright sphere may span A point in space ; then eject the fools, And from the mollusc, make another inaa.
