Last laugh

A Levin woman got the last laugh on a man who tried to take her car, the police said. The woman heard a noise outside her house on Monday evening and saw a man attempting to take her car. The man tried to drive off but became stuck in nearby mud. She then alerted the police. The police caught the offender as he was running away. A 21-year-old Levin man will appear in the District Court at Levin today charged with unlawfully taking a car.—PA.
