Reagan in London
NZPA-PA London The former United States President, Ronald Reagan, will arrive in London today to renew his special relationship with the Prime Minister, Margaret Thatcher, and deliver an address at the
Guildhall. There is also speculation that Mr Reagan will receive some kind of honour during the private visit which he and his wife, Nancy, will spend at Battersea Lodge, owned by American magazine
publisher Malcolm Forbes. Some conservative members of Parliament have urged the Prime Minister to recommend that the Queen offers him an honorary knighthood — something rarely awarded to a foreigner.
