Satellite squash

PA Napier A meeting of squash nations in Auckland last weekend has decided to look into establishing a series of Asia-Pacific satellite tournaments, the New Zealand Squash Association president, Alan Watton, said yesterday. Representatives from New Zealand, Australia, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Singapore and Pakistan are looking at an annual June-July series — separate from each country’s open championships but to be included on the world circuit.
