Applications are invited from persons with experience with children for the above position. All applicants should be mature and have U.E. or equivalent. Tertiary qualifications and experience in related fields would be an advantage. The successful appointee will have Individual responsibility for the inpatient care and treatment of children during the admission and follow-up periods. Such duties include daily care and supervision of children, observing and recording behaviour, writing reports and recommendations while working in a multi-disciplinary team. Working with . the family is also essential. Evening and week-end duties on shift as required. The applicant should be able to work with withdrawn or aggressive children, and communicate with a wide variety of age, socioeconomic and cultural groups.
