A new position of Dairy Farm Production Manager has arisen with the intention of centralising and co-ordi-nating the management of the technical and husbandry aspects of our dairy operations. The primary objective is to maximise the productivity of the dairy farms. We are seeking applications for this position. The successful applicant will have had suitable experience in dairy farm practice, with particular emphasis on the technical aspects of milk production and animal husbandry, and possess the appropriate tertiary education. The Production Manager will report directly to the General Manager of Apple Fields Dairy Company, Limited, and will be a senior member within the company's over-all management structure. The position will be based in our Christchurch office, although routine visits to our farms will be required.
