Body may be identified
PA Wellington Police believe that a decomposed body found at Titahi Bay last Sunday could be the body of a man missing since March. Detective Sergeant Ronald Chatt said they were following a line of inquiry after receiving a telephone call from a member of the public. An initial post-mortem examination was made yesterday and a fulb examination would be conducted tomorrow. The body was found at the bottom of the Titahi Bay cliffs by members of a Red Cross rescue team who were practising abseiling.
