Shooting charges
PA Nelson A 30-year-old man appeared in Nelson District Court yesterday on five charges in connection with a shooting on Takaka Hill. Christopher Peter Zaal, unemployed, of no fixed abode, faced two charges
of unlawfully presenting a firearm and charges ofpossession of a firearm without a licence, possession of an offensive weapon and dangerous driving.
Zaal entered no> plea and was remanded to appear in the Christchurch District Court.
