Trio face golf play-off
NZPA-AP New Jersey The L.P.G.A. Hall of Fame player, Joanne earner, today three-putted from 25 feet on the eighteenth green yesterday for a bogey and fell into a tie for the lead with Ayako Okamoto and Laura Davies, forcing an 18-hole play-off in the forty-second U.S. Women’s Open golf tournament, at Edison. Camer, aged 48, Okamoto
and Davies will play 18 holes today at the Plainfield Country Club. If a winner is not determined after 18 holes, there will be a sudden death play-off. All three finished the 72 holes of three-under-par 285, four shots ahead of Betsy Icing and Jody Rosenthal.
