Boost for stud

Prebbleton’s Nevele. R. Stud received a timely boost with the news at the week-end of Time Well Spent, a half-sister to the stud stallion Talk About Class, winning a heat of the prestigious Mistletoe Shalee in 1:53.6.

Time Well Spent, a three-year-old daughter of Governor Skipper, won her heat by four lengths and is a leading contender for this Saturday’s $600,000 final. Her time makes her the fastest three-year-old filly in North America this year, and extended her earnings to $642,000. She has won five of her seven starts this year. Talk About Class (by Niatross) was the fastest two-year-old in North America in 1985 with a 1:54 clocking, these being the first two foals from the Bret Hanover mare, Time Out Again.
