With four New Zealand representatives in the top five positions, Town can present a formidable front for the annual golf match against Country at Hororata on August 9. The odd man out in the leading line-up is the No. 4, Fred Poskitt, who won the Canterbury strokeplay championship and was the leading individual in the Southland invitational earlier this year. A former New Zealand Eisenhower Trophy team member, John Williamson, the captain, is at No. 2, while Mark Street returns to competitive golf after a break of five months. The team, in playing order, is:— Senior: Paterson, Williamson (captain), Craw-
ford-Smith, Poskitt, Street, Ken Collett, Keith Mills, Lyndon Cron, lan Carruthers, Jon Hazeldine, Kerry Lake, Mark Tamuta, Paul Hansen, Steve Paterson, Brett Tucker, Neville Brightwell.
