Stephen Street returns
A former Canterbury Freyberg Rose Bowl representative, Stephen Street, has returned to Christchurch but is unsure of his golfing future. Street, an older brother of one of Canterbury’s most capped golfers, Mark, was in the Canterbury five-man team for the national
inter-provincial championship in 1977, 1978 and 1981. In recent years he has been in the Tasman region and has played for that association In three New Zealand inter-pro-vincial championships. Street, aged 29, has a job with the New Zealand Wool Board in Christ-
church. He said yesterday that he had yet to sort out his work commitments and that he was going to put work first. However, he did not discard the possibility of perhaps playing for his old club, Harewood, which he has rejoined, if time allowed.
