Brothers prominent in ‘Press’ league
Brothers ; figured promin--ently among the try-scorers in two matches in “The Press” high schools’ rugby league championship this week. .. : -■ Roy and Ray David scored three tries between them in Aranui High School’s big win over Linwood High School in a section A match. . The St Bede’s College - inside backs, Phillip and Paul Bergman, also contributed three tries towards their team’s victory over Riccarton High School. It was the second win for St Bede’s in as many matches. In the other section B game, Christchurch Boys’ High School, which had the bye in the opening round, beat Shirley Boy’s High School, 20-8. The scheduled fixtures between Hornby and Hillmorton High Schools and Papanui and Mairehau High Schools will be played at a later date. Poor weather caused confu-
