Public Notice* CHRISTCHURCH CITY COUNCIL STOPPING OF PORTION OF PROCTOR STREET PUBLIC notice is hereby given that pursuant to Sections 319(h) and 342(1Xa) of the Local Government Act 1974, the Christchurch City Council has resolved to stop that portion of Proctor Street described In the Schedule hereto. SCHEDULE Portion of Proctor Street being all that parcel of land situated In the City of Christchurch and described as follows: Area: 95 sq m. Shown As: A. Survey Office Plan: 16958. Adjoining Land: Lot 2 DP 1176 and Part RS 304. PURPOSE The land is no longer required for road widening purposes under the Council’s District Scheme. The portion of road when stopped, will be sold to the adjoining owners pursuant to Section 345 (1) (a) (1) of the Local Government Act 1974. The land Is situated alongside the northern boundary of No. 65 Proctor Street and is 231 m in width. The above mentioned plan may be Inspected during normal office hours at the Design Division of the City Works and Planning Department, Christchurch City Council, Civic Offices, 163 Tuam Street. Submissions in favour or objections against this proposal must be lodged in writing, at the offices of the Christchurch City Council, Civic Offices, 163 Tuam Street, or posted to P.O. Box 237, Christchurch, to arrive no later than 4 p.m. on Monday, the Bth day of June 1987. Dated at Christchurch this 24th day of April 1987. This is the first publication of this notice.
