Public Notice* CHRISTCHURCH CITY COUNCIL STOPPING OF PORTION OF KELLYS ROAD (AT THE INNES ROAD/ HILLS ROAD INTERSECTION) PUBLIC notice is hereby given that pursuant to Sections 319(h) and 342(1Xa) of the Local Government Act 1974, the Christchurch City Council has resolved to stop that portion of Kellys Road described in the Schedule hereto. SCHEDULE Portion of Kellys Road being ail that parcel of land situated in the City of Christchurch and described as follows: Area: 4 sq m. Shown As A. Survey Office Plan: 16350. Adjoining Land: Part Lot 1 DP 533 and Lot 19 DP 14168. PURPOSE The purpose of the road stopping is to restrict traffic in Kellys Road from entering the Innes Road, Hills Road intersection. This will improve the environment for residents in Kellys Road by reducing traffic flows and also Improve the traffic’s safety at the Innes Road, Hills Road intersection. The stopped road will be retained in Council ownership for landscaping. The above mentioned plan may be inspected during normal office hours at the Traffic Division of the City Works and Planning Department, Christchurch City Council, Civic Offices, 163 Tuam Street. SCHEDULE PORTION of Jollie Street and Chelsea Street being all that parcel of land situated in the City of Christchurch and described as follows: Area: 7 sq m; 18 sq m. Shown As: A; B. Survey Office Plan: 16971; 16971. Adjoining Land; Pt Lot 110 DP: 1028; Lot 5 DP 33857. PURPOSE The land is no longer required for road and accessway purposes. When stopped the land will be amalgamated with the adjoining land, pursuant to Section 345 of the Local Government Act. The land referred to In the above schedule consists of two redundant comer roundings which are now occupied by the adjoining owners. The land referred to adjoins the south west side of an accessway that runs between Jollie Street and Chelsea Street This accessway will remain formed as it is at the present time.
