Ambulance equipment stolen
A St John ambulanceman came back from a call-out in Christchurch last evening to find his vehicle ransacked. Syringes, a resuscitator,
and a few “harmless” drugs were taken but recovered by the police about an hour later. The ambulance .was
called to a Garlands Road residence at 9.57 p.m. but found the patient’s supposed head injuries were not serious enough to warrant hospital admission.
