Clothing stolen from car
Winter clothing worth more than $7OOO was stolen from a car parked at a house in Heaton Street, Merivale, during Tuesday night. The clothing was in five suitcases in a locked station waggon parked in a drivewayj said the police.
A window of the car was smashed. The suitcases were taken between 10.30 p.m. on Tuesday and 7.40 a.m. yesterday. The police believe that a getaway vehicle was used.
Jeans, shirts, skirts, dresses, and jackets, of the Moontide and Vamp brands were among the clothing taken.
