Incentive scheme
By
LES BLOXHAM,
travel editor Flight attendants on Continental Airlines are being offered incentive payments for good team work. Crew members can earn SUSIOO ($200) each a month for achieving set goals. Initially, the plan will concentrate on performance, passenger compliments or complaints, and hours of duty missed through sickness or injury. The incentive payments are in addition to the company’s profit-sharing scheme which last year' paid out SNZ34 million to the staff. The airline emerged from bankruptcy on Monday.
