Premium notices

Sir,—As a result of contacting the Christchurch office of New Zealand Insurance to clarify whether a premium had been paid, I was informed that no policy-holders of M.L.C. Insurance cover (M.L.C. recently merged with N.Z.1.) have been sent premium notices since last December. Overdue notices will be sent out shortly, including Interest charges. I am disappointed that the company has acted in this way without prior notice. I was assured of the security of the cover, but am disappointed that the trust and good will of long-established business practice was ignored and a change in procedure followed without notice. —Yours, etc.,

ANNE EDMUNDSON. July 15, 1986. .[This letter was referred to New Zealand Insurance, but no reply has been received.]
