The Canterbury gymnastics team was named yesterday to compete in the national championships at Cowles Stadium from August 26 to 30. Abbreviations used are: Alpha Gym Club (Alpha), Avonhead Gym Club (Avon), Bryndwr Y.M.C.A. (8.Y.M.C.A.), Christchurch School of Gymn (C.5.G.),Damax Gym Club (Damax), Greymouth Gym Club (Grey.), Total Gymnastics Club (Total.) The team is: Elite women.— Fiona Martin (C.S.G.), Tracey Sinclair (C.S.G.), Carmel O’Laughlan (Avon), Kelly Bray (C.S.G.), Kaye Nicholson (C.S.G.), Rachael Simpson (Avon.)
