Cavalier may buy hotel
PA Wellington The Cavalier prop forward, Scott Crichton, is looking for a hotel to manage with an unnamed partner, but has not revealed how he would finance the deal. Crichton has turned down a job offer from the Railways Corporation because it would have meant his starting in the Lower Hutt workshops. He quit his job in the Wellington workshops before leaving on the Cavaliers tour. Thus the Interest in a hotel, although Crichton also says he is considering two offers for fitting work. “We are searching for a hotel at the moment, but I have had a couple of other offers. “But we are looking only in the Wellington area. We have made our home here and we are not interested in moving,” said Crichton yesterday.
