Boxing cancelled
There will be a delayed start to the amateur boxing season in Canterbury. A tournament, organised by the provincial trainers’ association and scheduled for tomorrow at the Richmond Working
Men’s Club, has been cancelled. There have been several defections because of illness. The first tournament of the season will be held on May 4, also at the Richmond Working Men’s Club.
