Printpac acquires Allied
PA Dunedin Printpac, a new joint venture company, is to acquire the commercial printing business of the Dunedin-based Allied Press, Ltd, from April 1. The purchase is subject to the consent of the Examiner of Commercial Practices. There will be no redundancies arising from the change in ownership. Printpac, a Carter Holt Harvey, Ltd-Whitcoulls Group, Ltd, joint venture, will be operating nationally from April 1 serving the printing and packaging industry. The operation — to be known as Printgroup Dunedin — will combine the Allied Press commercial division with Whitcoulls’ printing.
