Croquet selections
Two Canterbury players have been included in the New Zealand . croquet team to travel to England in June. They are Graham Beale and Roger Murfltt. The other four members are Joseph Hogan (Gisborne), Robert Jackson (Auckland), John Prince (Hastings) and Paul Skinley (Wellington). The team will compete
against Australia and England for the Macßobertson Shield, as well as having matches against Great Britain and the London clubs. It will be captained by Prince and managed by Ashley Heenan, of Wellington. It will be Prince’s sixth Macßobertson Shield series, a record for any player.
