Dig In to return
PA Auckland The Takanini trainer, Ray Verner, is returning Dig In to the South Island, where he feels the opposition will not be so tough. Dig In has had 20 starts for Verner for one win, five seconds and two thirds. He won 10 races in Southland and Otago when trained at Riverton by Bill Hillis.
Verner, said he did not know who would train the horse in future.
